How to use the JSON Viewer?

A JSON Viewer displays JSON data in a clear and structured format, making objects, arrays, and nested values easier to read and understand.

Simply paste or enter your JSON into the viewer and start the process. The tool organizes the data into a readable structure, allowing you to easily explore its contents.

A JSON Viewer makes complex or deeply nested JSON easier to navigate and understand. It is especially useful when inspecting API responses, configuration files, or large JSON documents.

Yes. A JSON Viewer can help you navigate large JSON structures more easily by presenting objects and arrays in an organized format. Performance may vary depending on the size of the data and your browser.

No. CodeLiqo’s JSON Viewer processes your input directly in your browser. Your JSON does not need to be uploaded to a remote server for viewing, helping keep your data on your device.

What Does JSON Viewer Do?

JSON Viewer lets you explore JSON data in a structured and easy-to-read format. You can add your JSON by pasting the text directly into the input field or by selecting a .json file from your device.

After loading the JSON, the tool displays its structure as an interactive tree. Objects, arrays, keys and values can be expanded and collapsed, making it easier to navigate through large or nested JSON documents.

You can also search for specific keys or values using the search field. Each element has a JSON path that shows its location within the document. For example, an address object can be identified with the path $.address.

When you select an object, array, key or value in the structured view, the tool opens a detailed view with important information about the selected element, including its path, type and value. You can also copy the path or value directly from the detail view.

For example, if your JSON contains an address object such as:

{
  "name": "John Doe",
  "age": 32,
  "address": {
    "street": "123 Main Street",
    "city": "New York",
    "country": "USA"
  }
}

Selecting the address object displays its path as $.address, its type as object, and its complete value. This makes it easier to understand where a specific element is located and inspect its contents without searching through the raw JSON manually.

JSON Viewer is useful for exploring API responses, configuration files and other structured data, especially when the JSON contains many nested objects or arrays. It provides a convenient way to navigate the document and inspect individual elements directly in your browser.
